Kamdev Churna is a polyherbal Ayurvedic powder of Churna. It is prepared from Kevanch beej, Safed
Musli, Makhana Taalamkhana and Mishri. It is a tonic for sexual health of men. It controls premature
ejaculation and night fall. It is nutritious and improves immunity, stamina and strength. Kamdev Churna
has aphrodisiac action.

Ingredients of Kamdev Churna
Kamdev Churna contains following ingredients:-
Kaunch 12 gram
Safed Musli 24 gram
Makhana 48 gram
Talmakhana 48 gram
Misri 60 gram
Kaunch is also known as Atnagupta, Kapikacchu, Markai, Kandura, Kapiprabha, Cowhage, Kevanch,
etc. Its Latin name is Mucuna prurita Hook., Syn. M pruriens Baker. (Fam. Fabaceae). The seeds/beej of
Kevanch are used from time immemorial in tretament of male sexual disorders such as impotence,
spermatorrhoea. Its intake increases vigor, stamina and fertility. The seeds contain the alkaloids,
mucunine, mucunadine, mucunadinine, prurieninine, pruriendine and nicotine, besides beta-sitosterol,
gluthione, lecithin, vernolic and gallic acids.They contain a number of bioactive substances including
tryptamine, alkylamines, steroids, flavonoids, coumarins, cardenolides and L-DOPA.

Safed Musli, is also a rejuvenator, tonic and Vajikarak or aphrodisiac. The roots (tubers) are rich in
alkaloids, vitamins, minerals, proteins, carbohydrates, saponins, polysaccharides and steroids. It has
various therapeutic values as total rejuvenator, antioxidant and Immunomodulator.

Makhana are very nutritious. The seeds are nervine tonic and used in spermatorrhoea, sexual affections
and debility.

Talmakhana also known as Kokilaaksha, Kokilaakshi, Ikshura, Ikshuraka, Kaakekshu, Kshurak, Bhikshu.
The seeds are useful in seminal debility and venereal disease.
